Dear Holland America Club members:

I am writing this e-mail to tell y'all how fantastic our HAC 'fall dinner' =
event was=20
on November 5. It was held at a very cozy community clubhouse in Southlake.
A great location, with couches and fireplace, for this well organized event=
.
=A0
About 30 members participated and enjoyed delicious appetizers, a warm home
cooked main course and several sweet deserts along with many drink options.
All this food was prepared and/or cooked by our HAC board. Thank you cooks =
!!
A special THANKS goes out to our program chair Irma Schendstok for putting
it all together and organizing this very nice evening for all of us to enjo=
y !!

After dinner we had an auction of the dinner tables flower center pieces, t=
o benefit our
club treasury. These 6 or 7 beautiful center pieces were hand made by Irma.=
=20
She has many talents...obviously.=A0 Lammert de Haan also auctioned off sev=
eral cakes=20
made by our treasurer.=A0 The auction was a hoot and it benefitted our club=
 very much.
=A0
After dinner and the auction,=A0 Grace Tamminga played her accordion and ma=
ny of us=20
sang Dutch and other songs. No windows were broken....
We all had a super time and it was een erge gezellige avond [very cozy even=
ing].

Our HAC club board encourages our members to be involved in our club and is=

very interested in your ideas and suggestions for future events.
